Famous Couple Book Cover

For this project, I was instructed to make a book cover from a famous couple of my choosing. I did research on each person, and then came up with metaphorical ways to represent them through design. When choosing Bonnie and Clyde, I found out that Bonnie really enjoyed poetry and wrote it a lot. I also found out that Clyde started his crimes young, and ended up in jail. He was also the main person that murdered people. I felt their relationship could be described metaphorically best with a shotgun and a pen, both items representing aspects of each person, namely poetry and murder. The dollar sign ties them together as a duo who committed robberies, and the red color is a foreshadowing of the death they both knew would happen to them.
